Affordable Housing Committee reviews progress on multiple residential projects

Ayer Affordable Housing Committee tracks 64-unit NOAH Commons 40B project. The committee reviewed six residential projects in progress, including approved mixed-use downtown developments and a major 64-unit fully affordable housing proposal by NOAH at 65 Fitchburg Road; Phase I construction is anticipated to begin in spring 2027. The town contributed $400,000 to NOAH Commons Phase I and committed an additional $570,000 to increase affordability depth at the existing Devenscrest Village development, where 35 units will receive state MRVP vouchers.
