Ayer assessors approve $32.8 million in quarterly tax warrants. Chairman Nicholas P. Laggis and members James Wood and Mike Gibbons voted unanimously to approve fiscal 2026 third and fourth quarter warrants totaling $27.1 million in real estate tax, $4.8 million in personal property tax, $813,375.96 in community preservation act tax, and $112,427.58 in water and sewer liens.

The board also unanimously approved 17 motor vehicle and trailer excise abatements totaling $2,303.98 for December 2025. The department's CAMA system conversion remains on track with Initial and Exemption assessments scheduled for end of January mailing.
