Ayer Home Sales Split Between Six Disclosed Prices and a Wave of Family Transfers
Fifteen properties sold in Ayer between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only six deeds disclosed a sale price, ranging from $265,000 to $565,000 with a median of $370,500 among those six. The month's top recorded sale was 49 E Main St at $565,000, sold by Todd R. Johnson to Kwame Addo. Nine of the 15 transfers involved grantors and grantees sharing a last name, several naming trusts or life estates, none of which listed a price. With most transactions undisclosed, the available data offers only a partial picture of local market conditions this period.
