Ayer Lifts Stop-Work Order at Lincoln Hills Project

AYER — Town officials have lifted a stop-work order at the Lincoln Hills project, clearing the way for construction to resume, according to a statement posted to the town's website.

TOWN HALL

The town's statement announcing the lifted stop-work order at Lincoln Hills did not detail what prompted the original halt or specify when construction is expected to restart, but the posting signals the project is now cleared to proceed.

Separately, Ayer's Sustainability Committee is recruiting volunteers for an upcoming volunteer day, and the town has issued a call for residents to help keep Ayer's waterways clean, according to notices posted on the town website.

Three town boards have meetings on the calendar over the next week. The Planning Board meets Tuesday, Aug. 25; the Ayer Housing Authority meets Wednesday, Aug. 26; and the Conservation Commission meets Thursday, Aug. 27, according to the town's public meeting calendar.
