Ayer Releases Guide to September Primary Election

AYER — Ayer town officials this week published a guide to the 2026 September primary election, giving residents a new resource as three of the town's boards prepare to meet over the next five days.

The Town of Ayer posted a guide to the 2026 September Primary Election on its website this week, adding to the town's standing voter and elections resources ahead of the fall ballot. The guide is available through the town's News Flash feed alongside the office's other public-records and civic information.

Town Hall's public meeting calendar shows a busy stretch ahead, with the Conservation Commission, the IDFA and the Select Board all scheduled to convene within the next five days.

COMING UP

The Conservation Commission meets Thursday, Aug. 27. The IDFA holds a meeting Friday, Aug. 28. The Select Board convenes Monday, Aug. 31, the same day the Department of Public Works is set to begin its previously announced fall hydrant flushing program across town.
