Ayer Reminds Residents of Quarterly Tax Bills, Seeks COA Volunteer

Ayer property owners are being reminded to settle their first-quarter real estate and personal property tax bills, according to a notice posted on the town's official website, as Town Hall also seeks a new volunteer for the Council on Aging Board of Directors.

The town's website is flagging first-quarter real estate and personal property tax bills as due, urging residents to check with the Collector's Office for payment details and deadlines.

Town Hall is also seeking a volunteer to serve on the Council on Aging Board of Directors, and the town has posted information on efforts to help keep Ayer's waterways clean. Details on both are available through the town's website.

COMING UP

The Council on Aging Board meets Tuesday, Aug. 11. The Restoration Advisory Board and the Conservation Commission are both scheduled to meet Thursday, Aug. 13. The Select Board meets Tuesday, Aug. 18, followed by the Devens Jurisdiction Framework Committee on Wednesday, Aug. 19.
