Ayer Shirley School Committee approved approximately $1.9 million in payroll and accounts payable warrants at its May 20 meeting held at the middle school library. Director of Finance William Plunket presented warrant approvals totaling $1,894,081.59 across four separate documents, along with an oil bid from French River for the 2026-2027 school year and discussion of non-unit employee annual increases. The committee also received a student technology showcase and an update from the Special Education Parent Advisory Committee before convening in executive session to address proposed staffing reductions and reductions in force.
