Ayer Tax Taking Set for June 30; Water Restrictions Remain in Effect

DATELINE: AYER

With no fresh press releases or community announcements crossing the wire overnight, Ayer heads into the weekend with two standing town-hall items residents should keep on their radar: a tax taking scheduled for Monday and mandatory water restrictions already in effect.

TOWN HALL

The Office of the Collector of Taxes has a tax taking set for June 30 at noon at Town Hall — just four days away. Property owners with outstanding balances should act before that deadline to avoid having a lien recorded against their property.

Mandatory water restrictions, in place since May 1, remain active. Residents are reminded to check the town website at ayer.ma.us for the specific restriction schedule and permitted watering days before heading outside this weekend.
