Ayer's Priciest Home Sale Tops $889,000 As Trust Transfers Dominate Filings
Ayer recorded 18 property transfers between July 31 and Aug. 29, according to the South Middlesex Registry of Deeds. Eight of those sales disclosed a price, ranging from $299,000 to $889,000, with a median of $562,500. The month's largest transaction was 16 Madigan Lane, which sold for $889,000 on Aug. 13. Ten of the 18 recorded deeds were transfers within families or into trusts and did not disclose a price, including three separate filings on Autumn Ridge Drive. With just over half of transactions lacking public price data, the available figures show a range spanning from below $300,000 to just under $900,000.
