Community Preservation Committee advances Ayer Affordable Housing Trust funding application

AYER — Community Preservation Committee forwards Ayer Affordable Housing Trust funding application to spring town meeting. The Ayer body unanimously voted to forward the funding application to a Public Hearing on March 4, setting it up for consideration at Spring Town Meeting on April 27. CPC member Colleen Krieser presented the Trust application, which includes $72,000 for a Rental Assistance Program to assist up to 12 qualifying families yearly plus a revised $25,000 schoolhouse heating and ventilation project.
Chair Janet K. Providakes noted the committee's Historical Preservation fund has $321,165.51 available.
