Conservation Commission · Meeting of May 14, 2026
Ayer Conservation Commission unanimously approves two Department of Public Works infrastructure projects. The Commission issued negative determinations for the Scully Road water main replacement, scheduled summer 2026 to serve planned commercial development, and for Groton Harvard Road drainage improvements involving catch basin replacement and outlet relocation to address road and Lincoln Hills project runoff. The Groton Harvard system will include 24-inch storm pipes with catch basin filtration systems.
The Commission also issued an amended Order of Conditions for New England Power Company's substation at 0 Bishop Road after a previously blocked culvert was cleared and found to be directing excess water into the wetland replication area.
