CPC advances $237,000 in grants from Community Preservation funds

AYER — Community Preservation Committee advances $237,000 in grant agreements through review stage. The Ayer CPC reviewed draft grant awards of $212,000 to the Affordable Housing Trust, including $84,000 for a Rental Assistance Program and $128,000 for property purchases, and $25,000 to the Sandy Pond School Association for an HVAC project. Both grants were approved by voters at the April 27 Town Meeting and draw from CPC's Community Housing and Historical categories, respectively.

Town Counsel and the Select Board must approve the agreements before they become final.
