Community Preservation Committee · Meeting of January 7, 2026

AYER — CPC advances $650,000 in affordable housing grant pipeline. Chair Janet K. Providakes reported two major grant agreements in development January 7: the Ayer Housing Authority's $250,000 generator purchase for 18 Pond Street and the $400,000 Devenscrest Village Apartments project, where property transfer closed in December and state covenant review remains pending.

The Affordable Housing Trust plans to request $200,000 at the February 4 meeting, with $72,000 for Rental Assistance Program recipients and remainder to replenish the trust fund, with CPC approval moving the request to public hearing in March and April town meeting vote.
