Park Commission · Meeting of March 5, 2026
Ayer Park Commission approves Panther clinic fee increase to $125 per child. Chair Sarah A. Gibbons and Members Brad Spinney and Gregory Cotter voted unanimously to raise rates, which now include an administrative fee and T-shirt, with a 20-80 split to coaches.
Parks Director Sarah Ernst reported three lifeguards and one gate attendant confirmed for Sandy Pond Beach this summer, though the commission is considering delaying the season opening until after school ends due to May weekend staffing and weather challenges. Architect Stephen Kelleher has been selected for the beach house design project, with a kickoff meeting scheduled shortly.
