Parks Commission extends assistant director hiring deadline, plans budget presentation.

Ayer Parks Commission extended the Assistant Director hiring deadline to January 28th and voted unanimously to restructure the position to incorporate waterfront director duties. Sarah A. Gibbons, Chair, presided as the commission, including Dave Grubb and Gerry Amenta, Parks Director, also approved prior meeting minutes (4-0-0) and reviewed architect bids for the Sandy Pond Beach House design, with presentation scheduled for the Finance Committee on January 29th.
The FY27 budget's first draft showed increases across all line items. Youth soccer and basketball registrations are open, with spring soccer closing February 6th.
