AYER — Senior Center Building Committee approves $512,410 utility contract with CHB Corporation. Chair Katie Petrossi oversaw approval of the water main and Comcast line bid for the project site; the contract came in under the $1 million utility budget. The committee expects a mid-season cost estimate in mid-March and aims for early-to-mid-March Planning Board submission.
A Community Compact IT Grant for $170,000 was submitted February 5th, while the Friends of the Ayer Senior Center has raised its local fundraising target to $440,000 after touring the Wilbraham senior center.
