Ayer School Committee ratifies three union contracts covering staff through 2029. At a brief July 2 meeting, the committee voted unanimously to approve 2026-2029 collective bargaining agreements for clerical, custodial, and paraprofessional employees. Superintendent Dr. Renda described all three as "very straightforward" with "no surprises." The clerical contract was returned for a revote after a minor language correction on page 10 that Renda said "was nothing that impacted any monetary value of the contract." The custodial and paraprofessional contracts came to a first vote after their respective union memberships had ratified them.
No financial terms were disclosed publicly. The committee then voted to enter executive session.
