Ayer Planning Board Unanimously Approves Two Residential Projects With ADUs

AYER — May 5, 2026 — Ayer Planning Board approves two residential developments adding up to four homes and four accessory dwelling units. The board, chaired by Jonathan Kranz, voted unanimously at a special May 5 meeting to approve site plans for 50 Jackson Street, where Seal Harbor Companies LLC will build a single-family home with an ADU on a 15,360-square-foot lot, and for 64 Littleton Road, where GPR Inc. will raze existing structures and construct three single-family homes each with an ADU on lots ranging from 13,720 to 16,000 square feet. Town Planner Danny Ruiz noted that a Department of Public Works letter flagged uncertainty over whether the "existing privately owned sewer pipe" at Littleton Road can handle the added flows — language the board inserted into finding eight of the decision — with a required homeowners association to bear maintenance responsibility. The meeting marked the final appearance of Vice Chairman Nathan King and Clerk Kathleen Cachel, both of whom were recognized by Kranz for their service to the board.
