Planning Board approves major site plan modification at 14 Washington Street.
Planning Board · Meeting of February 24, 2026
AYER — Planning Board approves 14 Washington Street site plan modification. Chairman Jonathan Kranz and members voted unanimously to approve a major site plan modification converting the property from five residential units and commercial space to eight residential units, with all town departments confirming no further objections. The Board allowed the property owner and abutter to negotiate screening requirements rather than impose them as a formal condition.
A separate mixed-use development at 63 Main Street featuring 11 residential apartments and one retail space was continued to March 10 after applicant Robert Dipierro presented the project within the Downtown Form Based Code district; Town Planner Danny Ruiz will review unit sizes for compliance and coordinate departmental responses.
