Ayer sees 15 recorded sales as home prices range from $265,000 to $565,000
Ayer recorded 15 property transfers between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19, with sale prices posted so far for six of them, ranging from $265,000 to $565,000 and a median of $368,000. The period's top sale was 49 E Main St. at $565,000, sold by Todd R. Johnson to Kwame Addo. Three of the six priced sales were condo units at 55 Littleton Rd. Nine of the 15 total transfers moved property within the same family, into trusts, life estates or between relatives, which explains much of the missing price data. With most prices still pending, the overall market tone remains hard to gauge from this snapshot alone.
