Cook Street Deed Tops $4.5 Million in Ayer's September Sales
Ayer recorded 19 property transfers between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3. Ten carried a sale price, ranging from $228,000 to $4,550,000, with a median of $400,000. The month's top sale was 27 Cook St. at $4,550,000, sold by J. Paul Routhier, trustee, and the JPR Trust. A second sale, 15 Westford Rd., closed at $3,150,000. Eight of the 19 transfers moved property within the same family into a trust or life estate, and none of those carried a recorded price yet. Three properties on Groton School Road and West Main Street sold the same day from Hagel LLC to CO LLC. The remaining nine transfers await price data, typical for recently filed deeds.
