Ayer's Priciest Recorded Sale Tops $4.5 Million as Family Trust Transfers Dominate Deed Filings
Ayer recorded 17 property transfers between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26, though only six carry a posted sale price so far, ranging from $290,000 to $4,550,000 with a $400,000 median. The period's top sale was 27 Cook St. at $4,550,000, followed by 15 Westford Rd. at $3,150,000. Three condominium units at 55 Littleton Rd. changed hands, and 10 of the 17 transfers moved property between family members or into family trusts. With most transactions still awaiting a recorded price, the data alone doesn't yet support a read on overall market tone.
