Conservation Commission continues review of multi-family housing at Fitchburg Road

Ayer Conservation Commission continues hearing on multi-family housing project at Fitchburg Road. Consultants from BSC Group presented plans for the Chapter 40B development, which includes 114 surface parking spaces and 44 garage spaces. The commission heard presentations on wetlands impacts, stormwater management, and sewer-line extension plans.
Conservation Agent Heather Hampson noted the town is pursuing a grant to extend the sewer line on Fitchburg Road. The commission voted unanimously to continue the hearing until August 27, with a sitewalk scheduled for August 29.
